A deal to raise the debt limit has been reached and will likely become law. It's not a perfect deal by any means, but that doesn't make it bad.

All those Democrats who are claiming that Republicans are "playing politics" with the debt ceiling voted unanimously against raising it in 2006 when a Republican was president.
